Sebert Haper is a past student of Duanvale Primary School, Cedric Titus Secondary and Elim Agricultural School. Sebert is also a former teacher of Duanvale Primary School and implemented where he implemented many agricultural projects. Sebert migrated to the United States where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Horticulture.
Sebert is an Environmental Educator and Garden Consultant who worked with the New York City Housing Authority and Liberty Sunset Gardens, as a consultant. He also works as a horticulture therapist (an area in which he is certified) at the Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation and writes for The Children’s Hope Newspaper. Prior to working with the entities mentioned above, Sebert Harper worked as an Environmental Educator at Drew Garden in New York City. He also worked as a teacher under the New York City Department of Education. Sebert enjoys creating gardens in the City of New York and is currently involved in developing a farm on Governor’s Island.
He is an inventor and owns patents issued by the US Patent Office, one is for a foldable park bench.
